Have you been thinking about taking a Smoky Mountain RV camping trip? Here’s a few reasons to choose RV camping for your next vacation.
Outdoor adventure, indoor comforts.
The main benefit of going RV camping is that you get to experience the outdoors any time you want, but you also get the comforts of being inside any time, too. Unlike tent camping, where you spend all of our time outdoors, an RV camping trip can give you the best of both worlds.
Easy to set up with everything you already need.
The great thing about RVs is that they are set up just how you like them. You’ll have everything you need in your RV, plus you can still take advantage of all of our campground amenities! It’s like traveling with your own home, so you don’t have to worry about whether or not certain amenities will be available – you’ll have exactly what you need already with you.
Pack as much as you want.
When you take a camping trip of any kind, whether it’s in an RV or just at a tent campsite, you may tend to overpack. Since you’re spending so much time outside, it’s easy to have the urge to pack lots of outfits so you don’t have to re-wear clothes. In a car, you only have so much space. This may not be an issue if you are traveling with only a couple of people, but with a larger group or family, the space in a car can fill up quickly. Fortunately, RVs have lots of extra space so you can easily pack more!
Of course, you still don’t want to overpack. We have laundry facilities available at the campground if you need to wash or dry any clothes during your trip!
Plan different meals.
You’ve probably noticed, when you go camping, especially RV camping, the night usually ends in a circle around a fire, roasting marshmallows or cooking dinner. The great thing about camping is that you get to plan different meals than what you would normally cook at home. Our outdoor grills are a perfect place to try new dinner items and campfire snacks.
Camping saves you money!
Of course, one of the best parts – you get to experience all of this while still saving money! Smoky Mountain RV camping is much more wallet-friendly than staying in one of the local area hotels. Plus, you get to experience the mountains throughout the entire day – even overnight! Depending on the time of year you plan to visit, you can receive multiple nights at an RV campsite for the price of a single night in a hotel.
We would love to have you visit us at Greenbrier Campground. We know you’ll love spending time in the mountains, roasting marshmallows and spending time with your friends and family.
